This publication has been written by former royal chef Colin Alderson and tells the story of early life in the Yorkshire Dales, to life as a chef in the royal household. He spent time working in all of the royal houses, including Buckingham Palace, Sandringham and Balmoral and also spent time working on board the Royal Yacht Britannia.

On leaving royal service Colin realised his ambition of owning his own hotel and became host to many a celebrity, including royalty, who were among his guests.

The book (240mm x 170mm) has 152 pages with many photographs and recipes, some of which were the queen’s favourites. It is available as hardback only at a cost of £20, plus £3.50 p&p.
